At Generations Christian Academy, we believe that how we present ourselves is a reflection of our character and our community. Our uniform policy is designed to keep the focus on academics, faith, and personal growth rather than outward appearance, while still allowing each student to express their individuality within our guidelines. The dress code is in effect for all students at all school-related events and activities.
Parents are responsible for ensuring their student leaves home in compliant attire. Students who arrive in violation of the dress code will not be permitted to remain in class until proper attire is provided. Parents will be contacted and expected to bring appropriate clothing within a reasonable amount of time. Administration reserves the right to make final decisions on all matters related to student dress.
Students in 5th through 8th grade will also need PE uniforms for any semester in which they are enrolled in PE or Team Sports.
Girls: White button-down blouse or white polo with the GCA logo. Bottoms may be khaki or navy uniform-style pants, shorts, skirts, or a box-pleat jumper with a minimum 5-inch inseam or fingertip length.
Boys: White short or long-sleeved button-down shirt or white polo with the GCA logo. Bottoms may be khaki or navy uniform pants or shorts.
Girls: Navy, gray, or white polos with the GCA logo. Bottoms may include uniform-style khaki or navy skirts, shorts, or pants at fingertip length or a minimum 5-inch inseam. A polo dress and box-pleat jumper with the school logo are also available options.
Boys: Navy, gray, or white polos with the GCA logo. Bottoms may be khaki or navy uniform shorts or pants.
Students are encouraged to show their GCA pride on Fridays! Any GCA spirit or PE t-shirt may be worn with the following bottom options: uniform bottoms, navy or gray joggers, navy or gray mesh athletic shorts, or jeans and jean shorts. All denim must be free of holes, frays, patches, or excessively tight and skinny styles. Leggings, jeggings, and form-fitting pants are not permitted.
Any GCA T-shirt may be worn. Bottoms must be navy or gray athletic shorts with a minimum 5-inch inseam or navy and gray jogger pants for colder days. Leggings and yoga-style pants are not permitted.
